On Home, tap Add a Prayer Request. Enter a title, add any details, choose a category and list, then tap Save Request. You can also tap the + beside a personal list to add a request directly to it.
Open Lists and tap a personal list to expand it. Tap the request, make your changes, then tap Save.
Expand its list and swipe left on the request to Archive it. Archiving removes it from active prayer while keeping it saved for restoration. You can also press and hold the request and choose Archive.
Tap Undo while the message is visible. If it has disappeared, restore the request from More → Archived Items.
Open More → Archived Items, find the item, and tap Restore. Use the Show filter to find prayer requests, Thanksgiving entries, or answered prayers. A restored prayer request returns to its original list if it still exists; otherwise it appears under Ungrouped Prayers. Restoring an archived answered prayer brings it back to Answered Prayers & Praise, rather than active prayer.
On Lists, press and hold the personal list’s name, then choose Delete List. Choose Ungroup Items to keep its requests active under Ungrouped Prayers, or Archive Items to hide them from active prayer. If the list has no requests, Ungroup Items also deletes the empty list.
Expand a personal list and swipe right on the request. Add an optional note and confirm Mark Answered. You can also open the request and choose Mark as Answered. The request appears in Answered Prayers & Praise on Home, and a linked Thanksgiving entry is created.
On Home, open Answered Prayers & Praise. Swipe on the answered prayer to reveal its actions, then choose Return to Prayer List. Before confirming, choose whether to keep its linked Thanksgiving entry. If you do not keep it, the Thanksgiving entry moves to Archived Items and can be restored later.
Use Report Post on a shared request, or review reports and blocks in Safety & Reports. Ordinary list owners and authorized church administrators handle routine reports; serious concerns and administrator reports can go to SimplyPray staff. Read the Abuse & Safety Policy or Contact Support.
Yes, after initial account setup and verified policy acceptance online. You can then add, edit, and pray through personal requests on that device offline. When the app detects a newer required policy version, review and accept it online before continuing. Account checks, subscription management, and shared-list changes require internet access. Limited cached shared content may be available on that device; it is not a substitute for current church access or online updates.
Your personal prayer lists, Thanksgiving entries, answered prayers, and tags are stored on your device in an account-specific profile. Signing out keeps these records on that device. Shared lists and their requests are stored online and follow the applicable audience and access rules. Church lists require current active membership and qualifying church-sponsored access.
After online setup and verified policy acceptance, personal prayer data is available offline on that device. Shared-list updates need an internet connection. SimplyPray does not currently sync personal prayer data between devices and cannot restore private device records from its servers.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password? and enter your email address. Tap Send Reset Link, then check your email for the reset link. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive. If you are still unable to sign in, use Contact Support.
Open More → Account & Billing → Manage Apple subscriptions. You can also open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions → SimplyPray. Apple manages subscriptions purchased through the App Store.
Open More → Account & Billing → Manage web account and billing. Sign in to the web account associated with your subscription to manage its billing. Apple subscriptions are managed separately with Apple.
Use the management option for your original billing provider: personal web purchases may use Stripe or RevenueCat web billing. Church administrators manage church billing separately through their dashboard. Review the effective date and any charges before confirming a change.
Check that you are signed in to the SimplyPray account associated with your purchase. For an App Store purchase, open More → Account & Billing and tap Restore purchases. If access is still missing, use Contact Support and include your account email, purchase date, and where you subscribed. Do not send passwords or payment card details.
If management is unavailable, use the link in your original receipt or renewal email, or use Contact Support before buying another subscription. Church sponsorship does not cancel personal renewals. Cancel Apple subscriptions with Apple; if website cancellation remains pending after account deletion, ask support to confirm it.
Open More → Delete Account and follow the confirmation prompts and account checks. Account deletion cannot be undone. The app may require you to resolve church ownership or billing before deletion can proceed. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage your billing separately before deleting the account. For assistance, contact privacy@simplypray.io.
After server deletion succeeds, the app attempts to clear that account’s private records and stored agreement proof on this device and cancel its reminders. If cleanup fails, it records pending cleanup and retries; server deletion alone does not confirm every local file was erased. Copies may remain on other devices or in backups. If you request deletion by email or from another device, remove local app data and manage backups on your other devices as appropriate. Provider cleanup may remain pending after account deletion. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details.
