Account & data

Open the app, tap the account icon (person symbol), then Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all server-side data. It cannot be undone.

Your on-device prayer data (prayers, journal, tags) is stored locally and is not affected by account deletion — it is removed only when you delete the app.

Your prayers, journal entries, answered-prayer log, and tags are stored entirely on your iPhone using SwiftData. They are never uploaded to our servers.

The app works fully offline. No iCloud sync is active at launch — your data lives on the device you installed the app on.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. You will receive a reset link by email. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a couple of minutes.

If you are still stuck, email us at joshua@solomonsolutions.tech.

Subscriptions

If you subscribed through the App Store, your subscription is managed by Apple:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap SimplyPray and choose to cancel or modify.

If you subscribed through the web app at app.simplypray.io, you can manage your subscription via the Stripe customer portal. Sign in, open Billing from the dashboard, and follow the link to the billing portal.

Sign out of the app and sign back in — this refreshes your subscription status. If the issue persists after a few minutes, email us at joshua@solomonsolutions.tech with your account email and we will sort it out promptly.

Using the app

On any prayer row in Supplication or Thanksgiving, tap the sparkle-hands icon (labelled "Answered") to move the prayer to your answered-prayer archive. It becomes part of your permanent thanksgiving record.

Yes. Your private prayer data is stored on your device. You can add, edit, and pray through all your requests without an internet connection. An internet connection is only required to sign in, manage your subscription, or use shared group lists.

TestFlight beta testers

If you are testing SimplyPray through TestFlight, thank you. Here is how to send feedback:

Sending feedback on iOS 18+

Apple moved the "Send Beta Feedback" option in iOS 18. The two reliable paths:

  1. Inside the TestFlight app → tap SimplyPray → Send Beta Feedback. You can attach screenshots from your library or write a comment. This is the recommended path.
  2. Settings → TestFlight → Send Beta Feedback — if this toggle is off, the share-screenshot prompt will not appear. Flip it on.

Nothing in SimplyPray itself blocks feedback — this is a change Apple made in iOS 18.

You can also email feedback directly to joshua@solomonsolutions.tech with screenshots attached.
